-All paintings are oil on canvas.

-If you would like further information about any of the paintings you have seen on this website or would like to discuss commissioning a painting, please contact me.

-All the work is unframed, but framing can be arranged, in a variety of high quality mouldings appropriate to the painting. This can be discussed when you order a painting.

-Paintings can be safely packed and sent to any destination. Details available upon request.

My art

Based in West Dorset, I was inspired to paint by the local scenery. I initially painted in watercolour, painting mainly old buildings and village and townscapes, which I exhibited in local galleries and further afield. I turned to oils as I wanted to paint bolder images and stronger colours, and this medium has given me a passion to want to paint bigger and try many new subjects. I still paint old buildings, but also fish, fruit, animals, portraits, or anything else that inspires me. The effects of light, dark and shadows that exist between, are a very important aspect of my work. As well as exhibiting in galleries and exhibitions in the South West, I have exhibited in London and abroad, as below:
